Man who killed his uncle’s wife and used her head for pepper soup arraigned before court
Jeremiah Ode, a Nigerian, has been charged with brutally murdering Mrs. Priscilla Adoga, the wife of his uncle, and using her head to create a delectable supper. He was brought before a Makurdi magistrate court.
The 65-year-old woman was reportedly decapitated by Ode on Friday, August 19, and her head was used to prepare pepper soup, according to the story.
Additionally, according to the article, the culprit allegedly killed his victim while working on the property where she was murdered.
He was said to have been caught by the locals who went searching for the woman after she was declared missing, while he was eating the body part of the deceased which he had already cooked.
Per the account shared on Instablog9ja, Ujata in his First Information Report (FIR) told the court that the incident which happened last Friday was reported to the police by one Silas Igiri of Oju LGA.
He said the report indicated that “the accused attacked the victim, his uncle’s wife, with a machate in a farm, where she was working at the time, and k#lled her after which he beheaded her.”
“The accused in his statement confessed to committing the crime,” the prosecutor told the court.
The hearing has been postponed until November 11 so that the State Ministry of Justice can provide legal counsel.
