Moment Janet Jackson approached Wizkid to greet him in Qatar (Watch video)
Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid, and American pop star, Janet Jackson met at the Emerge Fashion Show after party in Qatar.
Both singers were overtly humble when they saw eachother and exchanged pleasantries amongst the crowd.
In a video making the rounds online, Janet approached Wizkid to greet him as he chilled, and on seeing her, Wizkid bowed as a sign of respect.
Starboy was one of the celebrity guests present at the Emerge Fashion Week alongside other top stars from all over the world.
The video which was recorded by someone on Wizzy’s team had a caption which explained that Janet Jackson was the one who moved towards Wizkid’s section.
It reads: “A Yooo Janet Jackson just pulled up on us. Absolute Legend!”

Similarly, earlier this month, Nigerian Grammy winner, Burna Boy made headlines for being one of the lucky entertainers to be invited to Beyonce’s party.
Burna met Beyonce at her Tiffany & Co’s party in Paris, France and a photo on social media captured them conversing.
He had earlier shared his experience working with Queen Bey, saying it was great.
The 28-year-old tweeted; “It was great working on the Lion King Soundtrack with @Beyonce. Listen and Enjoy”.
The album, The Lion King: The Gift, featured other Nigerian singers like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi and Yemi Alade.
