Wizkid’s new song, “Money & Love” peaks at No.1 on Apple Music in less than 24 hours

Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid has resumed accomplishing feats that only a few in the industry can confidently do.

The artiste has clinched the number 1 spot on Apple Music with his newly released single “Money & Love”, in less than 24 hours.

Wizkid dropped “Money & Love” off his forthcoming album “More Love; Less Ego” on Thursday, 27th of October, 2022.

As at Friday afternoon, the track displaced Young John’s “Xtra Cool” which has spent almost two weeks comfortably at the top spot.

Wizzy had earlier announced that “More Love; Less Ego” will premiere on the 5th of November, 2022.

Similarly the Afrobeats singer whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known recently achieved a historic feat in the United States.

The artiste has set record by becoming the first African artiste to bag four different music certifications in the US.

Research firm, Africa Facts Zone broke the news on Twitter as it listed the tracks that earned him the new speak status.

According to AFZ, Wizkid’s song with Tems, Essence; Come closer featuring Drake, Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl and Drake’s One Dance Come Closer are the tracks that made the international record possible.

It also reported that the Starboy Entertainment CEO holds a similar title in the UK where he 10 music certifications under his belt.
