Hitting number 1 on the charts is hard
Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez has admitted that it’s really hard to reach the top spot on music charts.
He lamented over the reality in a post on his Twitter page days after he bragged while doing a comparative analysis with Wizkid.
Blaqbonez had bragged that he would be able to surpass Big Wiz and reach number1 , however, after weeks of its released the Haba crooner noted that his braggadocious statemnet did not have any effec.
He then appealed to his fans to keep streaming the song because being on the Top 10 was not enough.
The artiste wrote; ”Omo number 1 hard o. damn it. after all my mouth
Top 10 is not enough guys. Keep streaming 😭😭😭”

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that the newly released song, Back In Uni, recently hit the Nigerian Top 20 music charts and the Hip Hop act shared a screenshot of the track which was just a position below Wizzy’s song, Bad To Me.
Blaqbonez captioned the post with emoji’s which suggested that he was eyeing Wizkid’s spot on the chart.
He then hinted that was he would pass Big Wiz as he was aiming for the number 1 spot, but fans of Starboy interpreted it to mean that he was shading the Ojuelegba crooner.
Sharing the screenshot, the rap star wrote; ”Going for number 1 still 🎖️”
Wizkid FC stormed his comment section to drag him, and after hours of being attacked, he decided to clarify that he was not trolling the singer.
Blaqbonez said people misunderstood the post which only meant that he was excited to make the top 20 alongside Wizkid who is his idol.
He then said that he will never drag the Afrobeats star because he is not 0.0000001% of what Wizkid is in the industry.
The rapper wrote; ”People are taking my post out of context???I’m just happy my music is in the top 20 and I’m right beside my idol! everyone that knows me knows i love him to death, wtf are you guys talking about??!!!”
