In other news, Nigerian comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha, professionally known as Basketmouth, earlier revealed that he is yet to receive a house he bought 14 years ago.
The comic act lamented in a post on his Instagram page about paying N32 million (Thirty Two Million Naira) down payment for a house in Prime Water View estate, Lagos, yet he hasn’t received the deeds.
Basketmouth said that at the time, the management and developer handling the project were involved in a court case with the bank funding the estate development.
However, after all parties resolved the matter, they neither refunded his money nor handed the house to him rather he kept hearing funny stories.
Basketmouth who felt he has been silent for too long decided to speak up after 14 years of being played around by the establishment he paid the money to.
He asked Nigerians whether he has been patient enough and if it would be appropriate for him to call out the company and its owner.
The actor wrote; ”Do you guys think I’ve been patient enough? I put a N32million down payment for a house in Prime Water View estate 14yrs ago. They had some issues with the bank funding the project that landed both parties in court. After the matter was resolved I started hearing all sorts of stories concerning the delivery of the house and the refund. 14yrs later I’m yet to get my refund, house or even BQ sef. If I call this man/company out now do you think I waited long enough?”
