13-year-old girl allegedly commits suicide over pencil
Unknown Patricia, a thirteen-year-old girl, is accused of committing herself because to an argument she had with her younger brother over a pencil.
The dead allegedly hanged herself on a rope in her parents’ bedroom at New Abirem in the Birim North Municipality of the Eastern Region, according to DailyGuidenetwork.com.
The mother of the deceased is alleged to have heard her children fighting and rushed to help.
She then led the younger brother outside so she could settle the argument.
The 13-year-old girl had hanged herself in the room with a rope by the time her mother returned.
When they arrived on the scene, witnesses reported seeing blood smears coming from her nostrils.
The incident was then reported to the Police who later stormed the community to convey the body to a certain morgue as investigations are underway to unravel what triggered the little girl to commit such an act.
