Some social media trolls like picking on famous people for legitimate reasons or for no apparent reason. Numerous celebrities have experienced trolls’ and some followers’ abuse on social media.
Actress Yvonne Nelson has asked Twitter users why they deliberately follow celebrities on the platform in order to trash them. Yvonne Nelson voiced her dismay at how followers of celebrities they don’t like waste their time by insulting them in the comments area.
In a tweet, she said, “I have a question, why do people follow people they don’t like on social media? Why follow me and insult me? Did you follow to insult? Aah, Who raised you? Kindly explain.
