Al Hilal humiliate Asante Kotoko 5-0 in a friendly game in Sudan

The dominant team in Ghana’s Premier League, Asante Kotoko, lost their second exhibition game in Sudan.
The football squad arrived in Sudan over the weekend to start the second phase of preseason workouts in front of the 2022–2023 football season.

With the first of four exhibition games on Tuesday, Asante Kotoko’s trip got underway. After a full game, the Sudanese team Al Hilal defeated the Porcupine Warriors 2-0.

Asante Kotoko played them again today as retaliation against their adversary.

The outcome has worsened since they started playing full-time. After a superb performance, Al Hilal defeated the reigning Ghana Premier League champions 5-0.

The Asante Kotoko schedule includes two more exhibition games after today’s contest before the team heads back to Ghana.

On Sunday, they’ll play a game against the Tanzanian club Simba SC.
