I won’t join others destroy Shatta Wale’s brand I helped build – Bulldog

Bulldog, the stage name of artist manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, has vowed not to join forces with others to demolish the reputation he helped controversial dancehall star Shatta Wale establish.

Bulldog managed the dancehall artist for many years, but they recently parted ways. In 2015, the two were together before splitting up. Bulldog then returned to manage Shatta Wale in 2018 after MenzGold signed him as an artist under their brand, and the two recently split ways.

During a discussion with Zion Felix on his uncut show, Bulldog disclosed that he has parted ways with Shatta Wale but will not join others to bring down a brand he has helped build in years.

“If I had the opportunity to speak to the
president behind closed doors, I wouldn’t even speak out there for him to hear it because those are my views.”

“He (Shatta) is my junior brother so, I tell him things in private, something the public wouldn’t hear about. It is a brand I need to protect. It is a brand I sweat bled, and put my time and effort into so how am I joining the people that want to break the brand and break the brand together? No, I won’t do that,” Bulldog declared in the interview.

“If people are no longer working together, it doesn’t mean they are not talking or are no longer friends,” he said when asked why he didn’t publicly announce their breakup. Nobody had ever published a tale when I started working with Shatta. Why should the separation be revealed if Bullhaus is handling Shatta wasn’t announced? he questioned.
