I will love to collaborate with Shatta Wale – Piesie Esther
Ghanaian gospel singer Piesie Esther has stated that she has no reservations about collaborating with dancehall musician Shatta Wale to share the gospel via music.
According to the creator of the song “Ziba Beko,” Shatta Wale has a sizable fan following, which makes working with him exciting because his supporters help spread the gospel and bring more people to Christ.
“If I don’t sing secular songs but instead invite Shatta Wale that we should sing about the word of God, I don’t see anything wrong with it,” she added to Amansan Krakye.
Speaking on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM with Amansan Krakye, she said, “I have recognized that Shatta Wale has a lot of following and if I’m able to stand on his platform to preach about the word of God for many people to hear, there’s nothing wrong about that.”
“Because if Shatta Wale didn’t encourage me to make secular music, but I had rather done a church song with him to glorify God, then I definitely feel that it would be really thrilling,” she said.
“Because even if just one person accepts Christ and turns away from their sinful ways, there is great rejoicing in heaven, Piesie Esther said as her time on the Kastle Drive Show came to a close.
